 You need to meet below criteria to get CRED membership approved:
  • You own a credit card
  • You need a minimum credit score of 750 on Experian or a minimum credit score of 570 on CRiF

Benefits of joining via above CRED referral link:
  • To be eligible for CRED platform referral benefit you need a valid link (in the sense there are no referral code to use at the time of joining. You need to join via referral link.
  • Get 10 gems which you can convert to Amazon Gift voucher or Flipkart gift voucher (among other options like Uber and much more..)

  • If your referral's first credit card payment is small (Less than 5,000 Rs), then you can choose to burn the 10 gems earned for a guaranteed reward of Rs 100 - 1,000 (instead of opting for burning gems for 2% reward)
  • If you managed to onboard/refer many of your friends/family, you could chose to burn 30 gems (i.e for 3 successful/approved referral's who have made their first credit card pay) for guaranteed reward of Rs 500-10,000 (There is a similar option where you get a guarateed reward of Rs Rs 300 - 2,000 if you burn 20 gems)

Update on (12/Nov/2020) on Referral Benefit: Now you can use your referral benefit (10 gems) for getting 2% cashback on your first credit card bill payment - make most of this by paying your entire credit card bill for your first transaction


Also please note the given referral link have a validity period (so bookmarking it to use later has a chance for referral benefits going void)
Post installation you would receive the referral benefits after you complete one credit card payment (Not mandatory to pay your entire bill amount, but the more you pay the more CRED coins you would earn). I would do a separate post with more details on CRED coins. Basically these are like Google Pay scratch card, but they reward you handsomely when compared to GPay - You win an  assured cashback of upto Rs 1000. On an average you can expect to make 15 Rs for each scratch.
